Brass Hamsa Bracelet Cuff

Talk to the hand, evil eye.

This 1" wide brass cuff features a protective hamsa motif with warm copper accents. It's flexible, so you can gently shape it to fit your wrist. No clasps and no fuss, just slip it on and let the hand do the heavy lifting.

About the Hamsa:
The hamsa is a palm-shaped amulet beloved across North Africa and the Middle East. It's believed to protect against the evil eye, that envious, ill-wishing stare thought to bring bad luck and misfortune. Its name comes from the Arabic khamsa, meaning "five," for the five fingers (the Hebrew *hamesh* also means five).

The hamsa is one of those rare symbols shared across many faiths and cultures. In Jewish communities it's known as the Hand of Miriam, in Muslim communities as the Hand of Fatima, and Levantine Christians call it the Hand of Mary. Open-hand amulets date back to the ancient Near East, so people have been throwing up a protective palm for a *very* long time.

According to tradition, a hamsa with fingers pointing up wards off evil, while one with fingers pointing down invites blessings. Either way, you're covered.

About the metals:
-Copper has long been associated with Venus and matters of love. It's known metaphysically as a conductor of energy, just as it conducts electricity in the physical world, and it's also linked to prosperity and healing work.
-Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, so it carries a bit of copper's conductive reputation too.

Wear it for:
- Protection from the evil eye, envy, and bad vibes
- Inviting luck, blessings, and good fortune
- Walking into any room with "don't even try it" energy

Care tip: Brass and copper naturally develop a patina over time, and they may leave a temporary green tint on some skin. That's just the metal reacting to your skin. It's harmless and washes off. If you'd like to keep the shine, polish it with a soft cloth or a little lemon juice and salt.

Hand it to the haters.
