Afghanite is a mineral named after its first discovery in Afghanistan, specifically a feldspathoid of the cancrinite group.  It's a hydrous sodium, calcium, potassium, sulfate, chloride, carbonate, alumino-silicate mineral, often found with sodalite group minerals. Afghanite typically exhibits a range of colors, from blue to colorless, and is known for its characteristic orange fluorescence under a blacklight.
