Sardonyx

Sardonyx is a grounding and protective stone formed from layered bands of sard (a variety of chalcedony) and onyx. Typically found in shades of deep red, brown, black, and white, Sardonyx is a “Stone of Strength and Virtue.” Revered since ancient Rome for its protective power, it was often used in seals, cameos, and talismans for courage, willpower, and moral grounding.
