Turgite is a naturally occurring combination of Hematite and Goethite, often displaying rich metallic hues of red, bronze, purple, and iridescent rainbow sheens. Known for its striking appearance and layered energy, Turgite is a powerful stone of emotional release, energetic transmutation, and spiritual awakening through grounded action. It carries both the deep earthiness of hematite and the emotional intelligence of goethite.  It occurs under specific environmental conditions and has been found in several locations. Goethite is used as an iron ore, and is also a key component of ochre pigments. It has been used as a red pigment since Paleolithic times after being heat-treated.
