What is Charcoal?

1. Place a disc in a heat-safe dish (like an abalone shell with sand or a brass burner).

2. Hold with tongs and light the edge—it will begin to spark and heat up.

3. Wait until the disc turns gray around the edges (about 1–2 minutes).

4. Sprinkle resin on top and enjoy the rising sacred smoke.
